Personally, I enjoy the study of the American revolution, Thomas Jefferson, the Lewis & Clark Expedition, the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. As a former Ice Hockey player, kidney transplant recipient and 2-time Cancer Survivor, I keep myself busy and engaged
in my community.
With a passion to better my community, I am a founding member of Woodbine West Estates HOA board. As board president for over 10 years, I have overseen many projects including the development of the HOA common areas as well as the ponds including their continued maintenance and upkeep.
A former member of the Village of Homer Glen Parks & Recreation Committee, I am currently serving as a member of the Homer Glen Village’s Homer Fest Committee and
the Environmental Committee.
As well as serving as a precinct committeeman,
I am a Charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council #18043, and an engaged parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic church, serving on parish council, and teaching 6th and 7th grade religious education as a
catechist for over 15 years.
I plan to ensure responsible use of taxpayers' money, maintaining free speech while upholding our community's values and standards with age-appropriate safeguards.

As a child, I remember the Homer Township Library being one of my favorite places
to go through, and the summer reading challenge was my favorite experience.
Once I started high school, I would use this space to study and collaborate with classmates on group projects. Even during my college breaks, I would still come to the library to work on assignments. I desire to give back to our community where other students and children will continue to develop their learning in a safe educational environment.

Being on the Library Board seems like a great fit since the Library is a major part of what makes Homer Township a great place to live,
and I feel like I can bring a lot to help the
board richly enhance our community.

I have been involved in the community since 2007 helping coach baseball for my son through Homer Athletic Club. For a period I managed 2 baseball teams per season and was the league director. Then I started coaching for the Homer Stallions and was also President. While I was President, myself and three other dads started Homer Stallions Lacrosse for all girls and boys of Homer Township.
My interest for the library board is that I have never seen a contested election for the library and I think that is necessary and healthy. I am also for fiscal responsibility and want to make sure that the election results are respected. We have a wonderful library and I want to make sure it continues to be that way, while focusing on spending tax dollars wisely and budgets are managed properly.
